We place a high premium on the
recruitment and retention of a high quality staff. We employ four general
categories of staff: (a) professionally
educated and licensed (in Massachusetts) clinicians of all mental health/substance
abuse disciplines with appropriate clinical experience; (b) program managers who are licensed
clinicians with appropriate supervisory and/or administrative experience; (c)
paraprofessional staff with undergraduate education and/or appropriate life
experience to provide direct care in outreach, residential and
day/rehabilitation settings; (d) support staff with appropriate technical
training and experience.
Most
MHSAB employees are salaried and are compensated according to the appropriate
category of the MHSAB Salary Structure, based on job description, level of
responsibility, level of education and licensure, and years of experience.
