Effective Date: January 31, 2026
Services at Cottage Street, Great Barrington will be consolidated to our Pittsfield locations:
- Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), 334 Fenn Street
- 333 East Street outpatient location
We understand this may be difficult news, and we are committed to ensuring your care continues without interruption. Your current provider will work with you over the coming months to develop a personalized transition plan, with options for in-person, telehealth, or hybrid appointments.
Why Services are Moving
The Brien Center, like many organizations across Massachusetts, is experiencing significant reimbursement shortfalls from all payors (public and private), as well as other related budget funding cuts. To maintain our mission and ensure long-term sustainability, we must consolidate services to reduce operational costs.
