Pittsfield, MA – April 15, 2026 – The Brien Center, the largest provider of mental health and substance use services in Berkshire County, today announced the appointment of Keith Kendall as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer.

Kendall is a seasoned executive with more than two decades of leadership experience as a CEO, COO, and CFO across healthcare, life sciences, and financial services organizations. He brings extensive expertise in organizational leadership, operations, and governance within complex, highly regulated environments.

Most recently, Kendall has served in interim executive leadership roles for mission-driven organizations, with a focus on strengthening operations, enhancing quality systems, and supporting effective service delivery. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Aquestive Therapeutics (NASDAQ: AQST), where he led the company’s growth into a global pharmaceutical technology leader, including FDA product approvals and international expansion. Earlier in his career, he held senior executive roles at Hewlett-Packard/Compaq Financial Services and AT&T Capital, overseeing large-scale portfolios, integrations, and enterprise growth initiatives.
